Well what can we say about Granty..............firstly I think
he should thank me for finally putting his photo and profile
on here!
Joining
the club just before the start of the 2008/2009 season, Granty
fitted in straight away. Possibly seen as a journey man in the
past Granty seems to have found his second home at Heyford along
with his wing men in the form of Noel and Lacey!
A
hugely popular member of the squad, Granty will tell everyone
that he is a striker although some of us still think he is a
left winger really.
Always
gives 100% to the cause, although it is often said that maybe
he should stay at home on a Saturday when the wind reaches a
certain speed as he is often seen blowing away towards Heygates
Mill!
Seriously
Granty has scored some wonder goals for the club and he promises
us there will be more if we let him play up front. Has been
called into the 1st team on more than one occasion and has shown
he has the ability to make the step up.
One
other surprise this season is that we have actually seen Granty
at training, although some think he only comes over to see his
best mate Noel!
