Smithy is the 1st Team Manager for the 2009/2010 season. A true
clubman who is 110% committed to bringing success to Heyford
Football Club both on and off the pitch. After bringing success
to Heyford United (Sunday Combination Division 1 Champions 06/07
& Ken Parker Cup Winners 07/08), Smithy has taken on the
challenge (with Stan) of bringing success back to Heyford Athletic.
He
doesn't just want success on the pitch, he wants success off
the pitch and is actively involved with the 'New Build' Committee
at the same time as spending many hours improving the current
facilities.
If
the current squad could show half of the commitment which Smithy
does the club will experience success in the coming season.

Profile:
Having made his debut as a 15 year old, Stan is what you would
now call a veteran shot stopper as the years (and the weight)
have started to catch up. As a result of this the 2008/2009
saw Stan move into management taking the role of joint Manager,
however following the now infamous Mossy incident, Stan donned
the gloves once more and ended the season as the first choice
keeper at the club. However with new signings over the summer
and a baby due in January, Stan is hopeful of hanging up his
boots once more and reverting to a role on the touchline, albeit
now as Assistant Manager.
Stan's
other role at the club is that of Website Manager.

Profile:
A man of few words, Malc is the new Reserve Team Manager for
the 2009/2010 season. Malc brings a disciplined attitude to
the club which we hope will rub off on the lads in the coming
season and in doing so bring some success to the club.

Profile:
Following a number of years successfully managing local rivals
Weedon, Paul took a well earned break from senior football.
With the 08/09 season approaching Hesketh was identified as
the man to stabilise and drive the Reserve Team forward and
after weeks of negotiations Paul accepted the role of Reserve
Team Manager for the 08/09 season.
Following
a difficult first season in charge Paul and Malc have had a
change of roles and the coming 2009/2010 season will see Paul
switch to the position of Reserve Team Assistant Manager as
well as having a strong influence on the coaching on a Thursday
night.
Paul
is a vital cog in the management team and is an advocate of
developing young talent within the club.
Hopefully
Liverpool will be on TV a lot as if they are it will mean Paul
will be seen lots in the bar!
