Profile:
Clarkey joined the club just before Xmas 2008, making his debut
in the first game of 2009 against Whitefield Norpol.
With
previous Northants Combination experience having played for
our local rivals Kislingbury, Clarkey had a massive impact after
joining the club despite a hamstring injury towards the end
of the season ruling him out of the last few games.
A
stand out performance from Clarkey was at Medbourne away, where
despite having pulled his hamstring with no subs available,
he continued through the pain and turned in a magnificent performance
at the heart of the defence.
Equally
at home in central defence or in midfield Clarkey is a hugley
popular member of the squad and the club are hopeful that he
can keep himself fit as he will be a key member in our search
for silverware.
