Whitty is a pacey player who is at home anywhere across the
midfield or up front, often both a creator and scorer of goals
Whitty is a vital cog in the Athletic squad as well as being
a very popular player both with team mates and the clubs army
of fans.
Injury
has restricted his appearances in recent seasons although we
are hopeful that after a Summer of rest (& cricket) Whitty
will be back fresh and raring to go at the start of the new
season.
He
is a true clubman, who is also a village lad and despite the
fact that he has also appeared for both local rivals Bugbrooke
and Kislinbury in brief spells, if you cut him open he would
bleed Heyford.
Unfortunately
for Whitty (or should we say Alan and Pete in the Sun) he now
lives in town so his alcoholic intake has gone down!
