STAN'S
SLIM BLOG - Sunday 13th September
Well
I am happy to report its now 2 weeks without a beer! Loads of people
have congratulated me, although I am always quick to point out its
only 2 weeks and not 2 years!
The
lack of beer is certainly helping my weight loss as 2 more pounds
off this week and I am really starting to feel better for it and
I can definitely tell as well!
Football
wise its been a great start to the season for us, two wins from
two games although its just a start, there are 24 more games to
play, if we are still looking good at Xmas then we can start setting
some targets although at this point in time the target is to win
as many games as we can!
Its
great for the club that the Ressies have also started with successive
wins which sees them topping the table, there is a definite buzz
about the club this season and I feel that there is a real togetherness
within the camp.
On
the downside of our win yesterday I really let myself down when
I celebrated our winning goal, I have already apologized to Milton
for my celebration, it was out of order although I can assure them
it was just the heat of the moment. Last season was hard for me,
I don't like losing and equally I love winning so Tommy's late goal
was just what the doctor ordered.
Anyway
its a 10.45pm on a school night so off to bed now, have a great
week and here's to 6 more points next weekend for the club.

I reckon I lost 5/6lbs in the first 2 weeks before I decided to
