a perfect pitch it was Drayton who started better but Heyford’s
keeper and defence were in good form and Kyle T scored to make
it one nil. Mitch C soon made it two by half time .The second
half Heyford were much better and after Drayton’s keeper
made good saves from Lewis I and Hayden it was Lewis I himself
who scored a superb double to make the final score four nil.

Refereeing
decisions, six formers, are all the excuses the lads used for
losing this game, but in truth, it was the fact that half the
lads didn’t come to life until they were two nil down.
A cracking strike from Jordan E was then followed up by a close
range finish from Luke to get Heyford back on level terms. Heyford
had plenty more chances to win the game, but didn’t take
them and they were punished for it with a late winner from Castle.

better display from Heyford this week. Heyford started well
and went 1-0 up through Zach. Heyford created chance after chance,
but couldn’t put the ball away. 2nd half Heyford kept on
pass the ball well and got their rewards with further goals
from D’thaniel (2), Ollie D and a cracker from Zach. Remi
was Heyford’s mom with a super display. Well done to Thorplands
who never stopped trying, particularly their centre half and
goalkeeper who had great games.
