This
was another hard fought game with Moulton dominating most of
the first half and it was not long before they were two nil
up. Mitch C pulled one back before the break as the coaches
prepared to give some harsh words to the team . The second half
was much better with Heyford responding in the right manner,
the defence tightened up and the midfield and forwards played
more of a passing game. Tom Ca soon leveled and Cam T then scored
a stunning goal before Kyle T deflected strike made it four.
Well done both teams!

It
was a great game to start with. Heyford and Celtic were were
evenly matched, playing some fine passing football. Heyford’s
midfield worked hard and created many chances for the strikers
to run on to. Heyford were unlucky when Celtic scored before
half-time. The first five minutes of the second-half, Brad scored
a well taken goal. Both teams battled hard and Heyford’s
defence were outstanding, with Mitch and Adam C earning their
Mom awards. Rhys made an outstanding save to keep Heyford in
the game. Ten minutes before the final whistle, Celtic scored
making it 2-1. Heyford battled or the draw, but it didn’t
come. A fantastic game of football by both teams. Well done
the Heyford boys!

A
much improved display from Heyford this week saw them at times
play some great passing football. They went into half time 6-1
up with goals from Ollie(2), Dan P, Dan L, Remi and Zach. Second
half they added 2 more through Zach again and a fine header
from Connor. Tom Richards deserves a mention with a great display
including a fine penalty save. Remi was MOM for Heyford. Well
done to Brixworth for never giving up.

came to Moulton on the back of a very good performance against
Daventry town U18’s, however it was always going to be
tough against the leaders. Every single Heyford player gave
100% and we were unlucky to go 1 down, the response was fantastic,
you wont see many better team goals, with Phil, Nick, Matt,
Ryan and eventually Sam finishing clinically. Jason kept Liam
quiet and put in a couple of awesome last ditch tackles, Connor
and Nick D were safe at the back, with George B in good form
before going off with an injury. Gary stepped into the heart
of defence and did a great job, Matty and Steve kept putting
Moulton under pressure, all the subs did well. Great ‘team’
effort.
